A brief word on committees....

The only hope for America is the Libertarian Party.  We're the only ones truly standing up for economic and personal freedom.  (The Republicrats and Demoblicans talk about both, but don't make much progress.)

We're the party in favor of LESS REGULATION.

I'm in a State Libertarian Executive Committee meeting.  It's mostly about regulations and rules.

All I'm gonna say is God help us all.

Then the USA is in big trouble. I'll ignore the history of the Libertarian Party shooting itself in the foot time and again. The real issue is that it is impossible to form a stable, libertarian government within an existing nation. Libertarianism requires that the vast majority of citizens are self-reliant, responsible, honorable, tolerant, and willing to live with minimal government and few laws. Very few citizens in the USA (and pretty much all nations) meet those criteria.

Libertarian politicians could help decelerate the slide to a freedom-free nation, and they may even get a few anti-liberty laws or policies rescinded, but I don't think they can stop the movement towards more massive government, socialism, and a police state with enormous spying abilities.
