The Future Aggie graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth last night.
At the party afterwards, a friend of mine recommended this recent column by Leonard Pitts of The Orlando Sentinel. Mr. Pitts has a daughter the same age.
Good stuff.
I'm also saving it here, just in case the Sentinel takes it down.

We watched the Future Aggie walk across the stage -- we were the fringe element clapping and hooting from the west(?) side of Daniel Meyer.
Congratulations! I know you and Mrs WS are pretty proud right now.
God willing, it will be our turn next year (one down, one to go).
Dr.,
Thanks for the comment.
I am more proud and pleased with The Future Aggie than anyone will ever know.
She has been more low-maintenance and fun and all around good to be with than anyone outside the Sepulchre Enclave could imagine.
However, there's a reason why kids are encouraged to leave the house around age 17-18.....
It's gonna kill me, but it's time. Yes, it's time. Believe me, it's time.
