Mission Accomplished - a 15 Year High In Unemployment

The Unemployment Rate has hit a 15 year high, along with the new high in the minimum wage.

Thanks Be Unto God for yet another increase in the minimum wage, coming to us next year. That should help employers hire more people, right? Especially the young, inexperienced minorities that this legislation is designed to help.

Hit the minimum wage tab below for additional rants on this subject.

They're raising it again? I hadn't heard. Do people even care anymore? I mean, I...I'm not surprised, but I'm still at a loss for words. Who could possibly think that this is a good idea?

Yeah, it happened a while back, and it's going to go up again next summer.

What most people don't realize is that a lot of Union Contracts are based on multiples of the minimum ware.

Legislators don't give a rat's ass about the 1/3 or 1% who are full-time minimum wage earners. They care deeply about the tons o' unionized workers who get a pay jump when the minimum is increased.
