The best part of this video is where Jeff Flake, one of the few small government Republicans, claims that he gets "beaten like a rented mule" for opposing earmarks.

I had just used Jeff Flake as a Congressperson I don't mind seeing re-elected time after time. I thought he was going to have done something bad and taken billions in earmarks. Whew! Flake and Paul are about the only two I can count on for any sanity - and only Paul is pretty much 100% on message.
Now, of course Ron Paul votes against all big spending bills, but when they pass he scrambles to get as much in earmarks as possible... ostensibly to punish those who pushed for them (take it away from them).... and of course a little bacon comes home too.
