How well do you know the Declaration Of Independence?

I only got 9 out of 12.  This thing is tough.

Happy July 4th !!!!!!!!!!!

You did better than I did.

Most of the questions are largely irrelevant. Who signed it, who transmitted it, who printed it, how many were printed, when it was signed, where it was signed, where it's kept - this test was trivia.

What's really important is what the Declaration SAYS. It mentions grievances which still exist today and new ones our Founders would never have imagined springing forth from their own words and thoughts.

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

I scored 9 out of 12 as well. I goofed on the signing date, the original material (I should have trusted my initial reaction) and the number of copies printed.

Frankly, I was expecting more questions about the content of the Declaration, rather than mostly trivia.
