If Darwin knew what he was talking about with his "survival of the fittest" business, the Republicans are an earlier life form that will probably last another 20-30 years, maximum.
Would any other species allow the current bunch of Booger Eaters to take over their primary habitat ?
I think not. Intense Social Darwinism (like we saw in the last election) will be the best thing for the Libertarians, and for the U.S. The Republican party is doomed to go the way of the Dodo, and the less energy that the Libertarian-minded folk spend trying to set up special preserves for them, the better.
(Libertarians aren't merely Republicans who like to smoke dope, you know....)

Interesting article from our friend Nick. And I confess I found little to disagree with (although, in the spirit of your Bud Lite disclosure, this is written under the influence of 2 martinis).
As I've said in the past, I'd rather see the Democrats horse-trading with the Libertarians than the Republicans. These days they appear much more reasonable.

I think not.
