Has anyone else noticed that the sky is no longer falling?

How long has it been since you saw any new propaganda from The Church Of Global Warming?

If the priests of the COGW truly believed that the earth is melting, we would still be getting daily updates on the upcoming disaster.
Unfortunately for everyone in The Nunnery Of Saint Albert Of Music City, there is no longer any money to be made on the project.
As soon as money is once again available to save us - say, if the Dems retain control of Congress - more wild-eyed research will be made public, research that will justify the government purchase of more incredibly expensive Green Things, Wholesome Devices, Impurity Eliminators and Perpetual Motion Machines.

After all, there's no point in screaming that the sky is falling if nobody has money to spend on a Skyhook.

Lib Stoner,
thanks for showing up. I've admired your fine work for quite a while.

PP,
I believe it is. Whoever did this Photoshop probably thought it was Barbara Boxer.

You mean like the NASA website?
They update daily.
Here's their link.

Unfortunately for everyone in The Nunnery Of Saint Albert Of Music City

By "Nunnery", you mean NASA?
Or the NAS? Or the Royal Society?
Or the USGS? Or NOAA? Or every single scientific community on the planet?
Is that what you mean when you say "Nunnery"?

Why not just call them...scientists?
That's their job description after all.
Or just refer to them as the global scientific community?
That would be more honest and more accurate.

Is there some special reason you want to refer to them in religious terms?

As soon as money is once again available to save us (...) more wild-eyed research will be made...

Has research money for climatology suddenly stopped?
Wow.
Do tell.
How do you know this?
What has been happening in the world of climatology lately?
Glad you asked.

I read the link.

It goes to...a blog.
(No surprises there)

The blog makes a claim.

Did you do any background checks on the claim?
Did you bother to go to primary sources?
If not, then why not?

How come the blog you got the information from failed to do this?

Climategate U-turn as scientist at centre of row admits: There has been no global warming since 1995...

This is...a lie.
It's that simple.
That's not what he said.

Don't be gullible.
Don't let others tell you what somebody else said.
Don't just trust your "tribe".

Go to primary sources of information.
Get the man's own words.
All of them.
(Including any follow-up.)
In full context.
That's the fair and honest thing to do.

(It would take you five minutes max)

If you are prepared to do that, then the PRATT dies a quick and miserable death.

If you are truly in the right, then you have nothing to fear from exercising due diligence and doing a little research for a change.

Leave the quote-mining and shameless misrepresentations to the creationists.
